YACHT/SEA is proud to announce their inaugural sailing voyage launching from Marina Del Rey on June 19th, 2015. Guests will embark on a three-day journey along the Southern California coastline with a course set for Catalina Island. The experience will allow groups to participate in events ranging from a sailboat regatta to a private, music-driven beach party.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support Heal the Bay, a nonprofit organization that aims to make Southern California coastal waters safe, healthy and clean for all to enjoy.

YACHT/SEA will set-sail with a fleet of nearly 30 luxury yachts complete with a skipper and support staff to ensure a safe and exciting escape from the mainland.
“The idea of getting your best friends together for a weekend on a yacht was the start to YACHT/SEA,” said co-founder Charles Smith. “We want people to be able to share the unique experience of sailing, with good music and summertime fun off the Southern California coast.”
The experience begins with the Official YACHT/SEA Launch Party at an undisclosed location in Marina Del Rey where guests can dance under the stars to tunes supplied by special guest DJ’s. After a refreshing sail across the channel Saturday morning, yachts will land at the private Descanso Beach Club in Avalon. With boats anchored just off the sand, crews are invited ashore for an afternoon of beach cabanas, tropical drinks and music. As the sun begins to set, YACHT/SEA crews will be taken from the beach to a private venue in the heart of Avalon.
On Sunday, skippers and crews will have the opportunity to partake in the inaugural YACHT/SEA Regatta. Regatta winners will be hailed as crews arrive at the YACHT/SEA Summer Solstice Roast in Two Harbors, Catalina.
“Imagine a secluded beach at the Isthmus, the sun setting, the D.J.’s spinning and you and your friends taking it all in. This is the YACHT/SEA finale,” says co-founder John McCullough.
