Maserati has stormed back into the supercar scene with its brand-new Maserati MC20. It’s never easy to compete in the supercar scene, but when its the first it’s the manufacturer’s first mid-sized engine in nearly 40 years, the task might seem impossible. But Maserati has taken this challenge head-on, and so far it has exceeded the company’s expectations.
Engine and Performance
The MC20 Coupe and Cielo both feature a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that pumps out 621 hp. The engine is called Nettuno and contains a unique twin-combustion system borrowed from Formula 1 race cars and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its 207.6 horsepower makes it more powerful than other high supercars engines, like Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche.

Despite this high performance, the ride is quite comfortable due to the presence of adaptive suspension. Maserati also states that a fully electric variant of the MC20 will be released soon.
Interior
The interior of this luxury car is quite comfortable. The design is quite clean and minimalist, with only the important controls dotting the center console. Moreover, the cabin has upscale materials, including leather seats with contrasting stitching, aluminum pedals, and carbon fiber trim. To resolve the problem of rear-view visibility, the car uses a digital rear-view mirror with a rear-facing camera. It feeds the image of what’s behind the car to the rear-view mirror. Moreover, many current production vehicles already have this feature.
Infotainment

The system doesn’t have any buttons, for example, you will have to use the touchscreen to control the AC. There is also a giant knob to select the drive mode and two buttons for the transmission. Moreover, window controls and a volume knob, which can cycle through the music tracks, are located closer to the small center stack compartment.
