The city of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hills Fire Department have partnered with BleedingControl.org as well as Beverly Hills CPR and Cedars Sinai to offer a free community training session to be prepared in any medical emergency.
You will learn basic emergency bleeding control techniques, receive simulated hands-on training, plus a certificate of completion. There is no charge to attend.
WHAT: The City’s first Stop the Bleed training program
WHEN: Sat, June 2, 2018 from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.
WHERE: Beverly Hills Fire Department Headquarters, 445 N. Rexford Dr.
WHY: To provide hands-on experience, in a simulated setting, where community members will learn and practice life-saving, bleeding-control techniques; including placing tourniquets, applying direct pressure and packing wounds, lifesaving skills in an emergency such as a car accident, earthquake, shooting or terrorist attack.
Free parking is available at the Rexford Drive Structure, 445 N. Rexford Drive.
