Magnificent Mansion
Etched on the edge of the Las Vegas country club overlooking a golf course, Wynn’s Museo is more than just a home. The 13,500 feet mansion is also a museum, owing to his illustrious passion for art and paintings. He is believed to own a rare collection of art pieces, including the works of famous artists like Picasso, Monet, and Rembrandt.
Wynn bought this mansion in 2018 for a record $13 million, making it the most expensive home sale in Las Vegas that year. The property rests on 1.5 acres in the secure, double-gated ‘Billionaire’s Row,’ which is home to a number of other equally high-value homes. The two-story estate comes in a European-theme, something that Wynn has been keen to preserve.
While he has listed this magnificent property for sale with a $25,000,000 price tag, he recently did renovations worth $16 million for the entire property.
World-class Renovations
The casino billionaire left nothing to chance with the renovations of his ‘Museo,’ starting with serious top-range art security features. The home now stands with automatic doors on the art gallery hallway which drop from the ceiling and blocks the exits in times of emergency, a gas suppressing system, and numerous infrared security cameras for the exterior.
Indoors, Steve Wynn renovated most of his spaces to meet the ‘high-profile’ standards of his guests. This includes several Fortune 500 CEOs, and most notably, President Donald Trump. In the Kitchen, Wynn reinvented the space with an array of high-end double appliances, and an extra-large butler’s pantry that features a second kitchen.
For the master suites, he went all out, redesigning the rooms with grand ‘his and hers chambers’ featuring two lavish closets and bathrooms. The ‘his’ bathroom features a custom-designed shower resembling Wynn’s luxury yacht, while the ‘Hers’ section contains a shower, salon, a full bath, and a dressing room. This is part of the total six bedrooms and nine bathrooms in the mansion.
The renovations allowed Wynn to include gilded doors for every room, silk carpeting, and mohair covering for the walls. The finishes to these designs were also impeccably done, giving the house a captivating ‘outdoorsy’ feel while conserving the ever-attractive European style.
The mansion also plays house to numerous spacious spaces, from the deluxe his and hers offices to the family room fixed with a wine closet, an extravagant media room, and a den.
On its wing, the Museo harbors the caretaker’s suite and office, a fully-equipped gym, a laundry room, a wet bar, and double Bosch washers and dryers. An expansive climate-controlled garage towering with arched entryways and spontaneous skylights is also found on this wing.
Lavish Outdoors
Best of all, Steve Wynn’s Museo boasts of an impressive power plant that can meet the property’s power demands for up to 36 hours! Wynn focused on some amazing outdoor features, with a heated outdoor pool, a Roma gazebo, and a spa being just a touch of the many features that make this property a thrill to live in!
Additionally, the four-tier fountain right outside the front door, the gardens, and an oasis of Palms and Italian Cypress trees, only complement the fantastic European theme of the property.
All things considered, this is one of the best properties in the market today for people looking for luxury, convenience, and security. For golfer’s, the presence of a golf course is also a huge plus!
Steve Wynn has listed the Museo for sale with the Ivan Sher Group, under Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. It’s priced at $25,000,000.
