San Diego Mardi Gras Celebration and Parade- With FIVE INCREDIBLE STAGES to blow your mind, you will be dancing your way through FAT TUESDAY to the sounds of some of the west coast’s best jam masters. Sixteen (16) blocks of energy overload will be coming your way from bright lights and an explosion of music. The venue will take over all of 5th Avenue from Broadway to Harbor and will feature 5 stages along and adjacent to 5th Avenue. Each stage will feature live DJ entertainment with an intense sound system, visual excitement and LED sensation with a special set by DJ Snoopadelic, aka Snoop Lion. Performers and dancers will be eye candy on themed stages. Keep a look out for the parade krewes who will be tossing colorful beads to the crowds! So join the fun of this 1800’s tradition!

Entertainment Line Up: King Club Stage

DJ Snoopadelic – Snoop Dogg is able to work a crowd no matter the time or place which is why he continues to be one of the best entertainers in the game today. DJ Karma – DJ Karma has been one of the staples in the Las Vegas DJ community for years playing to some of the most elite party baron’s in the world. His vast knowledge of music and DJ Technique has also lead to a second place in the Red Bull 3 Style DJ competition. DJ Que – DJ Que is one of Las Vegas’s most sought after open format DJ’s. He makes regular appearances at some of the biggest and trendiest clubs on the strip including 1OAK and Drais. DJ Craig Smoove – With 15+ years of experience, DJ Craig Smoove has been spinning Top 40 Party mixes to house, trap, hip hop and bass music all over the country and across the pond with some of the music industry’s best known artists and dj’s like Juicy J, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Nas, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Armin Van Buuren, Manufactured Superstars, Brillz, 12th Planet, LMFAO, Designer Drugs, Hyper Crush, Far East Movement and Vice just to name a few.

Rue Carnival Stage (5th & G Street)

Luminox – A bright spot among young EDM and trap producers, Luminox can be seen touring the US, while releasing big tunes on Diplo’s Mad Decent record label. Willy Joy – A Californian by way of Chicago, Willy Joy’s one of a kind sounds have been released on A Trak’s – Fools Gold and Diplo’s Mad Decent record labels’. G-Roy – DJ G-Roy placed second in the San Diego Red Bull 3 Style DJ contest in 2013 and continues to DJ regularly around the US. Now located in San Francisco, G-Roy is working on original tunes and remixes full times. DJ Byrd – DJ Byrd is a San Diego DJ who is carving out his name DJ’ing at some of the Gaslamp’s top clubs.

Krewe de Vieux (Market Street)

Ravi Drums – Ravi Drums is a one-man party who has appeared on prime time television as well as toured the world with his unique hi energy drum and music show that has to be seen to be believed. Chris Clouse – A man of many hats Chris Clouse is a true musician at his core. From his early beginnings of being a competition fiddle player to now, he has crossed genres, written and recorded numerous albums, shared stages with the likes of Johnny Cash, Velvet Revolver, and amazing DJ’s such as DJ AM, Steve Aoki, Paul Oakenfold and Donald Glaude.

Canal Street Stage (6th & Island Street)

DJ Ruckus – DJ Ruckus has been wowing A-listers for years at the US’s top nightlife destinations. He has toured with Rev Run of Run DMC and maintains a constant schedule of private parties and club appearances. Miss DJ Lux – Miss DJ Lux is a resident at Downstairs club in Park City Utah. They regularly host some of the biggest parties Park City and Sundance have to offer. DJ Sat One – Sat has infiltrated the music scene for over 15 years giving crowds and music lovers his take on the Philly sound. Sat also is one of the original members of the”Skratch Makaniks”crew ,a group of some of the most talented and inovative djs on the planet. DJ Beatnick – DJ Beatnick has quickly become one of the West Coast’s most in-demand DJs. From rocking underground parties to the lavish hot spots in Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Vancouver, New York City, and San Diego, Beatnick always ensures the crowd of a good time.

Treme Stage (5th & K Street)

Joe Maz – Joe Maz helped make it cool to play rock music in clubs in the 00’s via his mashup project Discotech with Danny Daze and brother Gigamesh. Now all enjoying successful solo careers, Joe’s remixes can be heard around the globe and he holds several coveted residencies in Las Vegas and Miami.

Chris Clouse Live – Chris Clouse brings a special passion to his live sets incorporating guitars, live vocals and even fiddle. Chris has one of a kind performance that has impressed crowds across the world.

All Gold – The duo that makes up All Gold brings years of experience to the remix and DJ game. They make regular appearances in San Diego, Sacramento and Chicago and their remixes can be heard by some of the top DJs in the nation.

Mardi Gras 2015

THE PARADE: The Big Easy Parade will kick-off with a blast of sound coming from ALL STAGES to alert the crowds that the parade is to begin. The parade will travel down Fifth Avenue as the lights begin to move and draw focus down the main drag of the Gaslamp! An eruption of sound and visual splendor with music groups, roving performers and specialty acts and Fat Tuesday krewes will send a surge of energy through the streets from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM, readying the crowd for the traditional, New Orleans-like floats parade. The Celebrity Grand Marshal officially starts the “Parade of Floats” at 9:30 PM featuring over 40 OVER-THE-TOP designs continuing down 5th Avenue with an explosion of energy until 10:30 PM. The party revs on until midnight.
