JW Garden
The luxury resort now offers a pioneering herb garden envisioned and planted by renowned landscape designer Lily Kwong as part of the brand’s JW Garden program. Rooted in Marriott family tradition, the JW Garden is inspired by founder J. Willard Marriott who took daily nature walks, as well as his wife Alice. They grew fruits, vegetables, and herbs for her legendary Sunday night dinners.
The property’s Executive Chef, Eric Theiss, is sourcing ingredients and inspiration from the California native and edible-forward JW Garden for recipes, cocktails, oils, and more. New offerings include Barramundi with Celery Root & Sage Lemon Sauce, Himalayan Mint & Amelda Chutney, and Blueberry & Sage-infused Cocktails & Mocktails.

Culinary Experiences
You can now pay tribute to Frank Sinatra daily as the hotel raises a flag – in true Sinatra style – to signal the Sinatra Smash drink in his honor, which takes place every day from 4.05 pm – 4.11 pm in the lobby bar, Aquifer65.
The daily ritual features two Frank Sinatra songs “Come Fly with Me” and “The Best is Yet to Come,” which was the last tune he ever sang live in a performance that took place in the hotel’s very own ballroom. The hotel invites travelers and locals alike to enjoy a sampling of the “Sinatra Smash” cocktail and the drink also features on the menu for $17.
