Snowbasin Resort is one of the oldest ski resorts in the United States. However, there are no remnants left of a bygone era. Most of the lift infrastructure is modern and the Snowbasin Ski Resort has extravagant lodges. These are pretty similar to those present in the sister resort Sun Valley.

The Snowbasin ski area is quite large with 2,950 acres of terrain, 106 designated runs, and 2,915 vertical feet. Moreover, the Snowbasin Ski Resort hosted the 2002 Olympics Downhill. There are also plenty of vertical and fantastic wide runs with lots of pitch.
The terrain has a major bias towards the black run skier and snowboarder. However, in recent years, the resort has changed the trail statistics to downplay the amount of black and double-black terrain. In reality, there is a bit of beginner terrain and significantly more black and blue terrain.
Overall, the Snowbasin Ski Resort has 11 lifts, which include 2 fast gondolas, a small tram, a high-speed 6-pack chair lift, and 2 express quad chairs. So, this gives you an amazing ski resort experience.
Culinary Experiences
You can get the best food while visiting the Snowbasin Resort. You can go to the famous Needles Lodge. Here, you can get amazing views at the top of Needles Grandola. There is a wide range of food options for you. Here, you can eat burgers, sandwiches, hotdogs, and fried chicken. You can also order their famous Grilled Chicken Deluxe.
You can also visit the John Paul Lodge Servery. The menu here is quite versatile; you can enjoy burgers, hotdogs, cheeseburgers, and grilled fries. You can also try out their popular dish, the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage. However, outside food and drinks aren’t permitted in the restaurant.
Cinnabar is another great place to eat food. You can visit the place for your daily lunch. The restaurant offers gastro-pub-style cuisine. Moreover, there is a full component of spirits, wine, and local craft beers.
