The Academy Awards brought your favorite stars to the red carpet wearing this season’s hottest fashion trends, from what’s cool to what’s hot, to hotter, and the hottest we show you Hollywood’s best dressed celebrities this awards season from the red carpet at the Oscar’s.
Angelina Jolie looked comfortable, cool and elegant, dressed like a mature woman; she surprised us with her understated look that embodied true old Hollywood glamour. Amy Adams kept it simple with a form fitted mermaid train gown in navy blue. With her fair skin and blue eyes it was a great pick for her, but we’d have to say it was just a cool look this year, and didn’t quite make it to the hot list. Bette Midler looked absolutely stunning in her floral print gown. It represented her youthful spirit just perfectly. She is cool as ever and the world still loves her. Bradley Cooper stepped out looking ever so handsome with a classic bow tie look, though we prefer him clean shaven, we still loved seeing him all dressed up.
Kate Hudson shone like never before. Grown into a gorgeous woman, Kate simply stole the show with her glamorous gown and beautiful face. We adored the shoulder draped jacket that was perfect for the cool Los Angeles weather. She simply looked stunning and makes it to our hot list. Anna Kendrick looked ever so sweet in her sexy leg exposing gown with red accented waist line. We think this was an appropriate look for her and is the perfect style for a young Hollywood actress gracing the red carpet. She shows us how to be cool even when under the Hollywood fashion pressure.
Big winner, Cate Blanchett shows us a hot Hollywood style that is fantastical and fun. We love the golden and silver tones, and think they are always winning colors during awards season. Charlize Theron stunned us, as usual, in a perfect form fitted gown with unique train and layered skirt. We especially love the unique strapless style she chose that makes this one of the hotter looks on the red carpet. Glenn Close chose a traditional black gown with long sleeves, which was a cool choice for a veteran actress like herself. We would prefer to see her show a little skin, but think this look is a classic mermaid form fitted style that is safe on the fashion radar. Jenna Dewan-Tatum looked beautiful in her cool grayish silver toned dress. A very pretty dress, to match a very pretty girl.
Emma Watson made the hotter list this year because she chose an age appropriate style that is unique and flattering. Brad Pitt made a cameo on the red carpet looking cute as ever. Jennifer Garner also makes the hotter list with this dazzling tinsel town gown in silver. She shimmered throughout the evening when she strut her stuff. Like Jennifer, her dress was vibrant and full of radiant energy. Julia Roberts also chose a more classic style that is comfortable and understated. She opted for a subtle look that we think is super cool, just like her.
Jessica Biel rocked one of the hottest looks on the red carpet with a very demure skin toned gown with silver accents that made her look dazzling and classically beautiful; a simple cut and design that makes a very bold statement. Well done Jess. Jennifer Lawrence wins the fashion award for one of the hottest styles on the red carpet with her classic red dress that exudes elegance and modern Hollywood glamour. She is just a winner in every way. We love you Jennifer! Kellan Lutz is one of the hottest actors on the red carpet today and his boyish style just confirmed it.
Even Lady Gaga opted for an elegant style which seems out of her character, yet she still joins the list of Hollywood’s best dressed celebrities this year by wearing one of the hottest styles on the red carpet. Sandra Bullock chose a dark blue gown with traditional drape, which we think is a cool style for one of the coolest actresses in Hollywood. Finally, Kristin Chenoweth truly shone like a classic Hollywood star should in her golden gown with form fitted bodice with exceptional detailing and style. She embodied the Oscar itself, by being bold, unique, and glamorous. Two thumbs up Kristin. You win the hottest award!
