ABOUT INDIAN SUMMER
Indian Summer is romantic, philosophical coming of age comedy about two teens exploring their possible futures after a chance meeting on the coast of Rhode Island. It is a play by Gregory Moss and directed by Anna Jones. In addition to that, Indian Summer runs for one weekend on the main stage of the Loft Ensemble located at 11031 Camarillo St, North Hollywood, CA 91602 from October 6, 2022 to October 8, 2022 at 8:00
This play has sensitive themes of profanity and suicide. Apart from that, it is about Daniel whose mom has abandoned him and now is consigned to spend the summer with his widower grandad in a Rhode Island beach town. Unfortunately, locals don’t look kindly on city kids there. But his hapless vacation turns around when he meets Izzy: tough-acting, back-sassing, beguiling and taken. This feisty romantic comedy follows a passing fling that could las a lifetime – as impossible and charmed as an Indian Summer.
Ther cast in order of appearance are: Shamey Cramer as George, Jonny Lovo as Daniel, Maeve Thompson Osgood as Izzy and Baskin Betsworth as Jeremy.
