Beverly Hills Magazine: Please tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, where did you grow up, any training or education background?
Punk Me Tender: I was born in Paris and grew up in France. I have no training or educational background. In fact, I have been kicked out by most schools.
Beverly Hills Magazine: When did you discover your talent as a painter?
Punk Me Tender: I don’t really have a date but I started to feel pleasure in painting around 18 years old when I got my first apartment
Beverly Hills Magazine: How do you prepare for each new piece?
Punk Me Tender: I like to have a clean and neutral environment and love to see it transform while I work
Beverly Hills Magazine: What inspired you to paint, of all the mediums to choose from out there?
Punk Me Tender: The moon is inspiring me, the galaxy is the connection between my abilities of texturing paint and the space that it provides, and the stars are the medium that I use. Butterflies are an extension of these meanings for me.
Beverly Hills Magazine: Where do you get your inspiration?
Punk Me Tender: In the eyes of a woman, in the sparkle of a diamond, and in touch of a rose petal on my skin.

Punk Me Tender: I would say, butterflies. It’s unique because I’m doing it and my soul is one of a kind.

Punk Me Tender: Because it’s something that can go through the time and evolve its senses depending on the period and point of view
