Berlin fashion Week has been the buzz in the fashion world where famous and emerging designers showcase their latest creations for all the world to see. Even from the heart of Beverly Hills, we kept our finger on the runway pulse and discovered Dorothee Schumacher whose unique styles and interesting style concepts piqued our interest. One of the most famous songs by the Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is called Sk8er boi. Nobody knows whether the German designer, Dorothee Schumacher, got her inspiration from this catchy song while she was creating her collection for fall/winter – the casual spirit and a modern attitude are obvious in her new styles, though. Under the slogan “Limitless identity”, Schumacher shows that there are no limits when it comes to fashion and style, especially for a designer. Besides casual shorts and skater dresses, elegance is achieved by Jumpsuits with all-over prints that convey the esprit of the 70s and feminine blouses and dresses with a soft drape whereas elements of traditional fashion are also part of the design.

Schumacher created a mixture that is stylish, fun and still wearable. This is also reflected in the colors she has chosen for the upcoming fall/winter: With black, red, camel and beige, the fashion designer perfectly adapted to this season. We are a big fan of earth tones and we think she did an excellent job with her color selections this season. We’re anxious to see what’s in store for her spring/summer runway collection.
