The Paradise Island Bahamas resort’s Aquaventure water park has something for every age and interest. Kids will be in heaven with its mile-long river rapids ride and exhilarating waterslides. While adults can enjoy 14 pools and a relaxing spa. Aquaventure also has a variety of dining and pool bars to enjoy.
All hotel guests get free admission to the water park, but you can purchase a day pass for non-hotel guests. Be warned that the water park sells out during peak season, so you should purchase your passes in advance.
The water park’s biggest attraction is the Tower of Neptune, a nine-story-high ride that takes you through an aquarium full of sharks and manta rays. It is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. You can also take a thrilling ride down the Power Tower, where you’ll fly through a series of twists and turns. Atlantis Marina
The Marina at Atlantis offers 63 mega-yacht slips with direct access from Nassau Harbour. The berths are accessible year-round and offer a variety of services to yachts and fishing charters. Moffatt & Nichol provided planning, design, and construction administration for this world-class superyacht facility. The project required a complex mix of docking and power-boat facilities, including a floating dry dock and a fuel barge. The facility also includes a 100-foot-wide channel, located to the west of the north-bound Nassau/Paradise Island bridge, for unrestricted mast height on sailboats and easy access to power boats.
For guests who prefer a relaxing time on the beach, Atlantis has four distinct beaches that offer white sand and turquoise waters. There are also plenty of opportunities for watersports at the Cove Beach and Paradise Lagoon. The Cove Beach is also home to the famous swimming pigs, which are known for their love of belly rubs.
