Located nearly 600 miles west of Ecuador’s mainland, The Galapagos archipelago comprises 13 major islands, six minor islands, and several small islets. With crowds at an all-time low, there has never been a better time to visit this other-worldly destination.
The volcanic islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and 97% of the area is heavily protected National Park. For visitors, this means walking only on set trails, at certain times, and accompanied by a guide to conserve this incredible ecosystem.
The Galapagos is a destination that is typically booked at least one year in advance, with crowds of people coming and going on each island, but right now it will feel like you have these beaches and wildlife to yourself.
Perfect For
Wildlife, science, and nature enthusiasts. Offering some of the most unique wildlife experiences you can have, few destinations offer such up-close-and-personal wildlife encounters and unique flora and fauna that’s found nowhere else on the planet.
