Beverly Hills Sing Along

Beverly Hills Sing Along
Beverly Hills Sing Along

The entire community is invited to a free concert and Sing-Along featuring the L.A. Lawyers Philharmonic and the Beverly Hills City Council on Thu. Mar. 24, at 7:30 p.m. The concert kicks off Mayor-elect John Mirisch’s Beverly Hills, Our Home program that will include Sing-Along events throughout the year and other fun, group activities suggested by the community.

“Talent is not required, as I can personally attest,” Mirisch said. “But the idea is for the community to be together and enjoy ourselves. Our Sing-Along motto is: “It’s more important to sing out than to sing well. Just sing.” More information on the Our Home program can be found at www.beverlyhills.org/ourhome.

Conducted by Philharmonic founder and long-time Beverly Hills resident Gary S. Greene, the concert will include local singer Golda Berkman and Tony Award-winning Broadway star Michael Maguire.

The audience will sing songs from Guys and Dolls, Office of Communications City of Beverly Hills 455 N. Rexford Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90210-4817 South Pacific, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Annie Get Your Gun, The King and I, Anything Goes, Fiddler on the Roof and more. The concert will be held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater, 8949 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills.

The concert is free, but tickets are required. Tickets may be obtained online at www.BHSingAlong.Eventbrite.com, or picked up at the Roxbury Park Community Center, 471 South Roxbury Drive. For more information, visit www.LALawyersPhil.org.
